Connie became a full time staff at the DV in July of 2002. She and her husband, Gary, with their 2 dogs, Tater and Beau, live in Rosamond, CA, since 1990. The combination of her Communications degree at MSU and the professional management work at 20th Century Fox, acting in TV shows like NYPD Blue, LA Law with her debut in Die Hard 2 were the segue to what she felt God used to train her to lead this cutting edge Kids’ Ministry. Her performing arts background has inspired her to instruct a weekly drama workshop at DV on teaching the Bible creatively to train up kids through diverse learning styles.  She loves when a parent shares that their kids can’t wait to come to church! In 2008 she was invited to the Vineyard USA Kids’ Task Force Team. She currently is the Western Regional Representative for this task force consulting and resourcing other Kids’ Ministries.  One of the things that has constantly been asked of her is how do you recruit, train, and keep volunteers?  This led to her leading workshops to build leaders Regionally and at the Vineyard National Pastors / Leaders Conferences. It is her passion to equip people to serve and understand God’s call with a deeper awareness of His presence and power. On her time off recently in 2012 she slipped away to the set for the opportunity to Executive Produce a film, Happy Log, with Gary. On location they explored parts of the Gulf Coast close to where she grew  up. The film is a fictitious story loosely based on a slice of Gary’s childhood growing up in the 50’s.
